Ready for the real bikepacking experience? In 2026, we're not doing things by halves: no hostels, no comfort bubble – we'll be travelling together for five days across Thuringia, stage by stage, sleeping on campsites, because camp comes from camping. If you're looking for a real adventure, this is the place for you.
Every day, you decide what you feel like doing: an easy ride for the soul or a tough one for your leg days. Everything is possible, nothing is mandatory. And yes – yoga is back too, so your back doesn't give you grief and the vibes stay relaxed.
The Gravel Camp was born out of the idea: ‘...don't we want to go on a relaxed gravel holiday? With a few people and a chilled-out hut like this?’ (Thanks, Jule!) and after a few fixed considerations, phone calls and emails, we proudly present the GRAVEL CAMP. With 35 people and bikes we explore Thuringia.
Our camp will take place from 17.08. - 21.08.2026. We will start in Erfurt, of course – our home base – and after five days of gravel adventure, you will end up back there. In between, we will head south as a rolling camping crew, from campsite to campsite, always chasing the horizon.

Gold Ticket - 300 €
You transport your own stuff. Pure self-reliance, baby.
Silver Ticket - 350 €
Your stuff travels in the van. You roll along light as a feather.
Generally included:

We are currently checking whether the camp qualifies as educational leave (yes, really) – our application is currently with the Ministry of Education. More information will follow soon – stay tuned.
We see ourselves as a colourful, open and tolerant cycling community, in which we want to offer free development through the magical moments of togetherness on and off the bike. Abstract views that express themselves in nationalism, racism, sexism and discrimination in any form will not be tolerated.
